Pick up any AI session right where you left off
relai unifies ten AI coding tools — Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Gemini, Cursor & more — into one local dashboard. Resume a forgotten session, or hand it off to a different assistant with full context. Cost tracking comes built in.
Everything your AI coding workflow needs
One local app that reads the session files your CLIs already write — and turns the mess into signal.
Pick up any session — in any tool
Jump back into a session you forgot weeks ago, or fork it to a different assistant. relai writes a context primer from the transcript, CLAUDE.md and memory, then opens the target CLI for you.
Telemetry that reflects real work
Per-tool token and cost breakdowns from real session data. Exclude side projects from your reports with one checkbox.
Find any forgotten session
Search titles, previews and project paths. Custom titles mean you see fix-auth-bug, not a UUID.
Send sessions anywhere
Export CSV / JSON, and push session notes, study reports and insights to Obsidian, Notion or Readwise — one at a time or in bulk.
Monitor your agents in real time
See which agents are working right now — and which terminal windows are still open but sitting idle, waiting on you. relai checks the actual CLI processes, so a closed terminal drops off instantly. The menu-bar tray keeps active agents and this month's spend one click away.
Summaries at $0 with Ollama
Flip one switch and session summaries, handoff primers and study reports run on your local Ollama model — free and private. If the local model stumbles, your cloud CLI picks up automatically.
Sessions in, signal out.
relai parses the session files written by your AI coding CLIs and surfaces them as a single dashboard. No agents to install, no data leaves your machine.
More than a dashboard
Once your sessions are in one place, relai turns them into review and learning — not just charts.
Scan for issues
Surface security, performance and architecture issues hiding in your sessions — on a schedule, with alerts and one-click fixes.
↗Learning reports
Distill a session into the concepts behind it and a 2–4 week study plan — straight to Obsidian.
⇅Sync sessionsbeta
Capture on one machine, pick up on another — sessions from every tool sync across your devices, end-to-end encrypted and stored securely.
Simple, honest pricing.

Questions, answered
Which AI coding tools does relai work with?
relai reads the local session files written by ten AI coding tools: Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Kiro, Cline, Pi, Aider and Qwen. There are no plugins or agents to install — it parses the transcripts your CLIs already write and unifies them in one dashboard.
Does relai send my code or sessions to the cloud?
No. relai is local-first: session transcripts, token counts, cost data and exports stay on your Mac. Cross-machine sync is end-to-end encrypted and fully opt-in, and session summaries can run on a local Ollama model at $0 if you prefer nothing leaves the machine at all.
How do I resume an old Claude Code session — or move it to another tool?
Open relai, find the session by searching titles, previews or project paths, then choose Resume to reopen it in its original CLI, or Hand off to fork it into a different assistant. relai writes a context primer from the transcript, CLAUDE.md and memory so the new tool picks up with full context.
How does relai track token usage and cost?
relai parses real session data to build per-tool token and cost breakdowns, daily usage trends, and a monthly spend total that's one click away in the menu bar. Side projects can be excluded from reports with a single checkbox.
How much does relai cost?
There's a 7-day free trial — the full app, no credit card required. After that, Pro is $9.99 CAD/month or $99 CAD/year (2 months free), and Team is $19.99 CAD per seat/month. The Consumption view keeps free access after the trial ends.
Does relai work on Windows or Linux?
relai currently runs on macOS (Apple Silicon). Download the DMG, drag Relai.app into Applications, and it finds your existing AI coding sessions on first launch.
