relai is a local-first desktop application. This privacy policy explains what information, if any, is collected when you use relai and how it is handled. Because relai runs entirely on your machine, your AI session data, telemetry, and exported files never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them.
Data We Collect
relai does not collect personal data. The application stores session logs, cost tracking, and exported Markdown files locally on your device in directories you control. No account, registration, or cloud sync is required or performed. If you visit this website, standard server access logs (IP address, browser, referrer) may be retained briefly for security and debugging purposes only.
How We Use Data
Local application data is used solely to power relai's features — session history, cost summaries, and cross-tool handoffs. Website access logs are used only to maintain the security and availability of this site and are not shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Third Parties
relai does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The application communicates with AI provider APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) only in response to your direct actions and using your own API keys. We have no access to the content of those requests or responses.
Data Retention
All application data resides on your local device and is retained according to your own file-system settings. You can delete any relai data at any time by removing the relevant local files. Website access logs are deleted on a rolling basis within 30 days.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally no data held by us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold personal data about you, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of relai after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
